ECHOES OF SON OF THE SOIL CONCERT:AS IKPA UDO SHUT DOWN UYO WITH SOLD-OUT SHOW

The highly anticipated Son of the Soil Concert by Ikpa Udo held on Sunday, 8th December 2024 lived up to its billing, as the energetic performer delivered a thrilling show that left the packed audience in awe. The concert, which took place at the prestigious Emerald Event Centre in Uyo, was a sold-out event, with fans and music lovers trooping in from all over to witness the spectacle.

From the red carpet, to the main event, the concert was a masterclass in entertainment, with each performing artist bringing their A-game to the stage. The crowd was wowed by the refreshing HERO Lager and Cricova wines served, the impressive lineup of artists, who delivered electrifying performances that kept the audience on their feet throughout the night.

Ikpa Udo, the headlining act, was in top form, delivering a high-energy performance that showcased his impressive vocal prowess and captivating stage presence. The audience sang along to his hit songs, including "Ntom","Born With It", "Ame Nwod" and "Kpe," and were treated to an unforgettable night of music, dance, and excitement.

The concert also featured special guest appearances by top Nigerian artists, iconic guitarist Fiokee and rave of the moment Nasboi. Graham D flew in straight from his European tour, while Tossy Young who recently toured Africa, touched down Uyo to add to the excitement of the evening.

The event was attended by a diverse crowd of music lovers, celebrities, and dignitaries, all of whom were united in their appreciation for Ikpa Udo's music and the outstanding performances on display.

The representative of the state government, the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Entertainment, Mr David Sergeant (Utang Akwa Ibom) was present with his colleagues, Moses Eskor, Godfada Uko and Mary Afmay, also present was Special Assistant to Governor on Protocol, Mr Bassey Archibong, representatives of HERO Lager, Ibom Air, Cricova and Troost Ekong Foundation.
